Wow that is stupid, all to defend the comic book no-kill rule, but it only shows how stupid that rule is. Captain Gordon chooses not to arrest Batman, believing Batman can help Gotham City by letting the Joker live on. Batman locates the Joker and suicidal Joker again tries to get Batman to kill him, and Batman lets Joker live. Batman lets both Bane and Joker live so Joker leaves to detonate bombs placed around Gotham City. The Joker tries to get Batman to either kill Bane or kill Joker himself. Bane somehow learns Batman is Bruce Wayne and breaks into the Batcave, destroys it and almost kills Alfred.

In Batman: Arkham Origins (2013), a prequel and the Arkham game version of Batman: Year Two, the Joker as Black Mask hires eight professional assassins to assassint Batman, Killer Croc is an assassin, and the Penguin is a Kingpin wannabe runing a casino, a fighting pit and gun shop selling weapons. Batman saddly carries the Joker's body out of Arkham City in mourning of his arch enemy, as if the Joker, a mass murderer, was Batman's beloved friend. Batman tries desperately to save the life of his enemy the Joker but the Joker dies from side affects of his steroid drug use. Clayface as Joker is impaled by Talia and then Talia is killed by Joker. Hugo Strange dies and Ra's al Ghul commits suicide. Freeze suddenly becomes a good guy and develops a cure to save Batman and Gotham hospitals. Meanwhile, the Joker is suffering from fatal side affects of his steroid drug use and Joker poisoned the blood in Gotham hospitals and Batman's blood with Joker's steroid infected blood. In Batman: Arkham City (2011) Ra's al Ghul uses a Quincy Sharp to create a giant prison called Arkham City that is controlled by Batman villain Hugo Strange and arrests Bruce Wayne and locks him up in Arkham City.
Joker takes a steroid drug called Titan and becomes a roided up Bane wannabe. The Batman villains Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Bane, are reduced to acting as Joker's Goons. The game shows Batman suddenly having a Batcave under Arkham Asylum that makes zero sense. The Joker threatens to detonate bombs hidden around Gotham City if any police or Robin, etc. In Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009) Batman stupidly walks into a trap by going with the Joker into an Arkham Asylum that's isolated on a island and then Joker takes over Arkham Asylum. The Arkham games are unbelievable, immature and unane, overhyped and overrated, with an unbelievably chunky bodybuilder Batman, an unbelievably unhuman looking Joker, an unharlequin Harley Quinn that looks like a porn parody instead of a harlequin, and really unbelievably immature stories by Paul Dini, Corey May and Sefton Hill. I have major problems with the designs and stories of the Arkham games by Rocksteady Studios for Warner Bros. With haunting CD quality music track and incredible 3D simulation. Hear the bone crushing sound effects with every blow, kicks, punches, body slams and skull crackers. Save this gothic urban jungle from the predators of the innocent for the freedom of Gotham City. Psyche out the psychos with relentless attack moves. Fight the Penguin in his Arctic World hideout guarded by missile toting penguin commandos.
